Destination doesn't change

Dear Future Me,
Just saying- after you go through a break up, its like there radio only knows how to play breakup songs. Your Colors seam to fade, The world is more chaotic and exciting than ever, while your life is dull, lifeless and empty. A space has been open, a gaping hole is in your heart. In reality not much has changed from just a few days earlier.

I have been on a road trip or two. More often than not, I'm in the car with a sibling. Too many times to count, we argue and fight. Typically, it takes a few moments and we go from singing together at the top of our lungs to not speaking a word. Whether we are arguing or getting along, the car continues to move. The destinations remains the same.

What I am trying to say is, even if things are not going so great, the world keeps turning. The opposite is true, when things are going good- it doesn't turn faster.
Choose your attitude. A good attitude will always be beneficial because it improves the elation of life.
